Expertise: In the Oil and Gas (Electrical & Instrumentation) industry since 2001, specializing in Ex environments since 2016. Qualified IECEx trainer, and expert in compliance with IECEx standards and certifications. Strong skills in client acquisition, project scoping, and aligning services to meet client requirements, ensuring long-term partnerships and industry growth.
Notable Projects: Malikai TLP Deepwater Project, Gumusut-Kakap FPS Deepwater, and numerous roles with PETRONAS and Shell.
Hj. Ali Rahman Hj. Matassan
Previous Roles: Project Director, Construction Manager, and Project Manager.
Certifications: Certified Green Project Manager 360, and Assurance Delivery Excellence.
Expertise: In the Oil and Gas industry since 1996, specializing in overall Project Management from Initiation until Handover, developing and reviewing Contracting approaches and Company’s Training Modules for Project Management, establishing Tender and Contract documents, leading various Onshore and Offshore projects Audits and Assurance Reviews in improving project delivery and start-up.
Notable Contributions: Led major projects and packages in LNG Plants, Plant De-bottlenecking, Rejuvenation and Improvement initiatives during Turnarounds, including Waste-to-Energy Plant.
Royan Rakam
Previous Roles: Consultant and Auditor for QHSE and Asset Integrity, Project Manager and Head of Mechanical Static.
Certifications: Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (UTP, 2001).
Expertise: In the Oil and Gas industry since 2001, specializing in asset integrity, reliability management, project management, maintenance management, and QHSE.
Notable Contributions: Developed HSSE risk control frameworks and procedures for SEA Hibiscus, and reliability and maintenance strategies for PETRONAS. Led the implementation of the first multiphase pumping technology application in Malaysian waters and co-authored a technical paper entitled “Multiphase Pump Implementation at Tembungo-B Platform for PETRONAS Carigali Sdn. Bhd. – Sabah Operations, Malaysia” for the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) 2008.

Expertise: In the Oil & Gas industry since 2011, specializing in E&I systems in Ex atmospheres since 2016. Expertise includes hazardous area classification, explosion risk assessment, technical project management, and compliance auditing.
Notable Contributions: MERO 3 and MERO 4 FPSO Projects, PETRONAS Refinery Asset Rejuvenation (RESET) Project, SHELL F14/F29 Project, Sarawak, and Ex E&I Integrity Survey for FSO Mekar Bergading (Carigali HESS).

Expertise includes field instrument calibration, installation, commissioning, and project management for both onshore and offshore projects.
